Everatt Levy reports that the Panthers have reached an agreement withย WR Jerricho Cotchery.
- David Newton reports that Cotchery receives a two-year contract worth $5 million.

Ian Rapoport reports thatย are “closing in on” a deal with veteran WR Jerricho Cotchery.
- Rapoport adds that the final details are currently being hammered out with Carolina.
The Steelers have shown interest in re-signingย Cotchery, but it appears as though the Panthers are losing to getting him under contract.
Cotchery, 31, has been a surprisingly effective player for the Steelers. Last year, he totaled 46 receptions forย 602 yards receiving and a staggering 10 touchdowns for Pittsburgh.
Pro Football Focusย had him rated as the No. 26 receiver in the league last year.
