Update:
Tania Ganguliย has since offered a correction regarding her original report that mentionedย Texansย Sย Danieal Manningย had agreed to a pay cut.
Have to apologize for a mistake. Manning has not yet agreed to the pay cut, but the #Texans are working on it. Misunderstood my source.

Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com reports that Texansย S Danieal Manning hasย agreed to a restructure his contract in order to be back with the team next season.
There has been talk thatย Manning could be a salary cap casualty for a few months now, so this move doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
Manning, 31, signed aย four-year, $20 million contract that included $9 million guaranteed with the Texans back in 2011. He had one year remaining on his contract worthย $4.5 million andย would have countedย $6 million against the team’s 2014 salary cap.ย
Last year, Manning suffered a hairline fracture of his right fibulaย and was limited to appearing in just six games.
