The Titans GMย Ruston Websterย ย released a statement regarding the decision to fireย Munchak.
Reports from Friday suggested that Munchak was likely to be brought back next year, despite posting another disappointing season in 2013.
Titans president /CEOย Tommy Smithย met withย Munchak and team GMย Ruston Websterย in Houston yesterday, but wouldn’t say if changes were coming.
Munchak took over for long-time HC Jeff Fisher who was fired in 2011. In three seasons with the team, Munchak led the Titans to a record of 22-26 (.458).ย According to ESPN Stats & Info,ย Munchak has a 2-20 record against teams with a winning record.
