Saints Designate WR Tommylee Lewis To Return From IR

The New Orleans Saints officially designated WR Tommylee Lewis to return from injured reserve.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Saints to add him to their active roster or he would revert back to injured reserve.

Lewis, 26, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Illinois back in 2016. He’s in the final year of his three-year, $1.62 million contract and set to make a base salary of $630,000 for the 2018 season.

Lewis will be a restricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Lewis has appeared in two games for the Saints and totaled 69 kick return yards and no receptions.
