The New Orleans Saints officially placed DE Noah Spence on the reserve/non-football injury list on Tuesday. This officially ends Spence’s 2020 season.
Ian Rapoport reports that Spence suffered a torn ACL preparing for training camp.
Spence, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2016. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $6.03 million contract and hen the Buccaneers waived him coming out of the preseason.
The Bears and Bills brought Spence in for workouts before he eventually signed with the Redskins in September. Washington made the decision to move on from Spence in November and he signed with the Saints in December.
New Orleans brought Spence back this past March.
In 2019, Spence appeared in seven games for the Redskins and recorded three tackles and one sack.
