The New Orleans Saints officially placed WRs Travin Dural, Eldridge Massington and Josh Smith on injured reserve after they passed through waivers unclaimed.
All three players were waived with injury designations on Wednesday.
Smith, 24, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in June. This is his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During his five-year college career at Tennessee, Smith caught 63 passes for 764 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of 36 games.
