Aaron Wilson reports thatย Strief’s five-year deal includes $8.5 million guaranteed and will pay him an average of $4.1 million per year.ย This would bring the total value to $20.5 million.
Strief, 30, is one of the best right tackles available in the free agent market. However, NFL teams have been reluctant to pay right tackles in recent years, so it will be interesting to see the financial terms of the agreement.ย
Strief rates as the No. 7 offensive tackle in the league, according toย Pro Football Focus.ย We hadย Striefย listed as the No. 14 best available player in ourย Top 50 Free Agents list.

How. Are. They. Paying. For. It?
They is a fair question question given that they have around $2M or so in available cap space. Strief receives $8M guaranteed, which means they could backload the deal an offer him a signing bonus to go along with a low 2014 salary.
