Saints Re-Sign WR Joe Morgan & FB Toben Opurum, Add 2 Players To Practice Squad

The New Orleans Saints have re-signed veteran WR Joe Morgan on Wednesday, according to Nick Underhill.

• New Orleans also brought back FB Toben Opurum, according to Evan Woodbery.
• The Saints also signed OL Bryan Witzmann and S Alden Darby to their practice squad this week.

Morgan, 27, signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Walsh back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract and later signed a one-year deal worth $495,000 with New Orleans in March of last year.

The Saints elected to re-sign Smith back in April, but he was among their final roster cuts a few weeks ago.

Morgan appeared in five games and caught just four passes for 92 yards receiving to go along with one rush for 67 yards.
