Chris Tomasson reports that the Saints are signing former Vikings CB Marcus Sherels to a one-year contract on Thursday.
Sherels, 31, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in 2010. He has played all nine years of his NFL career in Minnesota and just finished out a one-year contract with Minnesota.
Sherels was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2018, Sherels appeared in 12 games for the Vikings and totaled 276 punt return yards and 34 kick return yards.
