Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Saints brought in DB Jamie Byrd for a tryout on Tuesday.
The Saints brought in CB Kevin White for a visit on Monday, so they’re clearly looking at some potential options in the secondary.
Byrd wound up going undrafted out of South Florida a few months ago and has yet to catch on with an NFL team .
During his college career, during his two years at South Florida, Bryd recorded 183 tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss, five sacks, three forced fumbles, a recovery, five interceptions and seven pass defenses.
