The Seattle Seahawks announced that DE Damontre Moore has been suspended for six games on Monday for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.
STATEMENT BY AN NFL SPOKESPERSON:
Damontre Moore has been suspended six games without pay for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. Moore will be eligible to return to the active roster on Mon., Dec. 14, following the teamโs Week 14 game vs. the N.Y. Jets.— Seahawks PR (@seahawksPR) November 2, 2020
Moore, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2013. He lasted over two years in New York before he was waived and later claimed by the Dolphins.
Since then, Moore has played for the Raiders, Seahawks, and Cowboys and even had a stint in the AAF. He signed on with the 49ers and has been on and off of their active roster before returning to the Seahawks this past September.
In 2020, Moore has appeared in seven games for the Seahawks and recorded eight tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.
