The Seattle Seahawks officially placed rookie OT Justin SeniorĀ on injured reserve Tuesday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

Senior, 23, was selected with the No. 210 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft by the Seahawks. He signed a four-year, $2.53 million contract with Seattle and stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

The Seahawks waived him with an injury designation on Monday.

During his college career at Mississippi State, Senior made 38 starts at right tackle with one coming at left tackle. He was a second-team All-SEC as a redshirt senior last year.
