The Seattle Seahawks are bringing in free agent C Justin Britt and DE Damontre Moore for workouts, according to Tom Pelissero.
Britt, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $3,546,930 contract and set to make a base salary of $891,399 for the 2017 season when the Seahawks signed him to a three-year, $27 million extension.
Britt was in line to make a base salary of $8.25 million for the 2020 season when the Seahawks opted to release him back in April.
This marks the second time Britt has met with the Seahawks in recent weeks.
In 2019, Britt appeared in eight games for the Seahawks, making eight starts for them at center. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 27 center out of 37 qualifying players.
We have him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
Moore, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2013. He lasted over two years in New York before he was waived and later claimed by the Dolphins.
Since then, Moore has played for the Raiders, Seahawks, and Cowboys and even had a stint in the AAF. He signed on with the 49ers and has been on and off of their active roster.
In 2019, Moore appeared in two games for the 49ers and recorded five tackles, a forced fumble, and no sacks.
