The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Friday that they’ve activated WR James Washington off the reserve/COVID-19 list and waived LB John Houston.
This leaves just two players remaining on the Steelers’ COVID-19 list:
- CB Justin Layne
- RB Jaylen Samuels
Washington, 24, was selected in the second round by the Steelers out of Oklahoma State in 2018. He’s entering the third year of his four-year, $4,501,346 contract that included a $1,353,704 signing bonus.
In 2019, Washington appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and caught 44 passes for 735 yards and three touchdowns.
