Steelers Expected To Re-Sign QB Devlin Hodges

According to Gerry Dulac, the Steelers are expected to re-sign QB Devlin Hodges to serve as their No. 3 option after trading away Josh Dobbs on Monday.

Hodges, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Samford back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Steelers.

The Steelers waived Hodges coming out of the preseason.

During his college career at Samford, Hodges threw for 14,584 yards while completing 69.1 percent off of his passes to go along with 111 touchdowns and 41 interceptions over the course of 45 games. He also rushed for 1,017 yards and 17 touchdowns.
