The Pittsburgh Steelers officially released QB Taryn Christion from their practice squad on Monday.
Here’s the Steelers updated practice squad:
- S Marcus Allen
- RB Trey Edmunds
- OL Derwin Gray
- WR Tevin Jones
- DL Henry Mondeaux
- OL Patrick Morris
- TE Kevin Rader
- TE Christian Scotland-Williamson (International)
- QB Paxton Lynch
- CB Alex Myres
Christion, 22, wound up going undrafted out of South Dakota State back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Seahawks.
However, Seattle cut Christion loose a few weeks later and he signed on with the Cowboys in July. Dallas waived him coming out of the preseason before recently signing on to the Steelers practice squad.
During his college career at South Dakota State, Christion threw for 11,535 yards while completing 59.7 percent of his passes to go along with 104 touchdowns and 34 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 48 games.
