Steelers Sign Three To Active Roster

According to Ray Fittipaldo, the Steelers have signed DB Kameron Kelly, LB J.T. Jones and DL Winston Craig to their 90-man roster.

Kelly, 22, signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He was released by the Cowboys during final roster cutdowns.

Kelly later signed with the AAF’s San Diego Fleet, leading the league in interceptions with four in its first and only season.

Craig, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond back in May of 2018. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Eagles cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

Philadelphia later re-signed Craig to their practice squad toward the end of the season.

During his college career at Richmond, Craig recorded 166 tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, two interceptions, 11 pass defenses, a forced fumble, a recovery and three blocked kicks over the course of 52 games.

Jones was signed by the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He spent time on the Falcons practice squad in 2017 before being released in final cuts in 2018.
