The Steelers were the first reported team to bring Berhe in for a visit, so they were clearly impressed enough to quickly get a deal done.
Berhe, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Giants back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,412,800 contract with the Giants and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2017, Berhe appeared in 15 games for the Giants and recorded 12 tackles, one sack and no interceptions or pass defenses.
