Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports free agent RB Stevan Ridley left his visit with the Jets without a contract agreement in place.
However, Mehta’s sources have said that Ridley is likely to end up signing with either the Jets or the Dolphins, who he has also met with in recent days.
Ridley’s market has been slow to develop since free agency got under way a few weeks ago, which is likely due to the fact that he’s coming off of a major knee injury.
Ridley, 26, played out his four-year, $2,953,500 rookie contract that included $1,023,000 guaranteed and is one of the best available running backs remaining in the free agent market.
In 2014, Ridley ran for 340 yards on 94 carries (3.6 YPC) to go along with four receptions for 20 yards receiving and two total touchdowns over the course of six games.
