New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley won’t be benched for his fumbling issues as of late, according to Greg A. Bedard of The Boston Globe.
Ridley, in Bedard’s words, now “has more rope as the lead dog“, despite fumbling twice this season, most recently on Sunday night against the Denver Broncos.
Ridley has 102 carries for 490 yards and 4 touchdowns, averaging 4.8 yards per carry and 98 yards per game. With stats like that, Ridley will most likely continue to be the Patriots’ leading back.
