According to Jason La Canfora, many of his Ravens’ teammates believe veteran G Marshal Yanda will retire this offseason.
La Canfora says that Yanda plans to take his time making a decision in the coming months.
Yanda was seen on the field after Saturday’s playoff loss to the Titans taking pictures with his friends and family.
After the game, Yanda declined to address his futures when asked by reporters. However, the topic of retirement has come up that past few years, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if he elected to call it a career.
Many consider Yanda to be a future Hall of Famer.
Yanda, 35, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2007. He was in the final year of his five-year, $34.14 million contract that included $17.8 million guaranteed when the Ravens signed him to a one-year extension last April.
In 2019, Yanda appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 4 offensive tackle out of 83 qualifying players.
