According to Dianna Russini, the Texans are signing LB Jake Hummel to a two-year contract.

He’s primarily been a special teams contributor for his career to this point.
Hummel, 27, wound up signing with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State following the 2022 draft. He signed a three-year contract with Los Angeles and played out the full deal.
He became a free agent for the first time in 2025 and signed a one-year deal with the Ravens.
In 2025, Hummel appeared in all 17 games for the Ravens and recorded 18 total tackles with one tackle for loss.
