Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Texans are bringing in free agent CB David Amerson for a visit on Monday.
This is the second reported visit for Amerson since he became available last week and met with the Bears. According to Rapoport, Amerson has another three visits lined up this week.
Amerson, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Redskins back in 2013. Washington waived him during the 2015 season and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Redskins.
Amerson signed four-year, $38 million extension with close to $18 million guaranteed with the Raiders back in 2016. He was set to make base salaries of $5.5 million and $7 million over the next two years of the agreement when the Raiders released him in a move that freed up $6 million of available cap space.
In 2017, Amerson appeared in six games for the Raiders and recorded 18 tackles, no interceptions, a fumble recovery and four pass defenses.
