Houston Texans running back Ben Tate is unlikely to play in Monday night’s game against the New York Jets, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Tate, who is officially a game-time decision, was a limited participant in practice last week due to a toe injury. Tate will most likely take part in pre-game warmups, but the Texans may opt to play it safe and have him miss out.
If Tate does not see the field against New York, Justin Forsett will back up Arian Foster.
