The Houston Texans announced Friday that they’ve signed CB Dee Virgin to their practice squad and released DE Daniel Ross from the unit.
The Texans’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE Evan Baylis
- CB Bryce Jones
- WR Riley McCarron
- RB Dare Ogunbowale
- OLB Gimel President
- G David Quessenberry
- G Chad Slade
- WR Chris Thompson
- LB LaTroy Lewis
- CB Dee Virgin
Virgin, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of West Alabama back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Texans waived him last week as they cut their roster down to 53 players.
