Anger, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2012 and was notably selected before Seahawks QB Russell Wilson. He played out his rookie contract and later signed a five-year extension worth $17 million with the Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers released Anger back in March and he later signed on with the Texans this summer. Houston cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Anger appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and totaled 2,567 punt yards on 57 attempts (45 YPA) to go along with 15 downed inside the 20-yard line.
