According to Aaron Wilson, the Texans have signed WR Artavis Scott to the practice squad.
Houston’s practice squad now includes:

- WR Steven Mitchell

- RB Scottie Philips

- DT Corey Liuget
- LB Emmanuel Ellerbee
- K Brett Maher
- WR Damion Ratley
- LB Curtis Bolton
- DE Kendall Futrell
- WR Artavis Scott
Scott, 25, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2017. He was waived at the start of the season and later signed to the Chargers’ practice squad.
Los Angeles re-signed Scott to a one-year deal contract last year, but he was waived and later added to their practice squad. The Colts signed him to a futures contract this past January but cut him coming out of camp.
During his college career at Clemson, Scott caught 245 passes for 2,480 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
