According to Howard Balzer, the Houston Texans brought in free agent CB Arrion Springs and LB Azeem Victor for tryouts on Thursday.
Springs, 23, wound up signing on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.71 million contract with Kansas City and was set to make a base salary of $485,000 for the 2018 season when he was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Chiefs later signed him to their practice squad but released him a few days ago.
During his four-year college career at Oregon, Springs recorded 137 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, a recovery and 42 pass defenses.
