Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson could be back for Week 17’s game after being ruled out for this weekends games by head coach Gary Kubiak.
“I would love Andre to get some playing time before we head into January,” said Kubiak, per HoustonTexans.com. “I think we’re very close to him coming back out here.”
T.J. Yates desperately needs help at wide receiver as he targeted Arian Foster, Owen Daniels, and Lawrence Vickers more than their wide receivers. The Texans have plenty left to play for as their still in the hunt for a bye and possibly home field advantage throughout the playoffs. A loss from either of the Patriots or Ravens will secure them a bye if they win out and losses from both teams would give them home field advantage.
There’s actually a lot riding on Saturday’s game against the Colts.
