Now that Peyton Manning will be quarterbacking the Denver Broncos next season, they can begin to address some of their other roster needs. One name that’s already come up is former Colts C Jeff Saturday.
Previous reports mentioned that Saturday was scheduled to visit with the Packers and Titans in the coming days, but you’d have to think that the Broncos would garner some serious consideration from him now that his former quarterback is ready to sign with them.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Manning didn’t “mandate” the signing of Saturday as a stipulation for an agreement between the two sides.
Saturday, 36, has been pretty decent despite his age and there’s no question that the Broncos could use some help at the position.
