The Tennessee Titans announced Sunday that they’ve re-signed veteran WR/KR Eric Weems and placed WR Harry Douglas on injured reserve.
Weems, 32, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Bethune-Cookman back in 2007. He spent five years in Atlanta before signing a free agent deal with the Bears in 2012.
Weems lasted just two years in Chicago before he was released and later returned to the Falcons in 2014. The Titans signed him to a contract this past March.
In 2016, Weems appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons, but did not catch a single pass. He did, however, total 391 kick return yards and 273 punt return yards for Atlanta.
