The Tennessee Titans released veteran center Eugene Amano Thursday afternoon, The Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt reports.
The seventh-round 2004 draft pick has spent his entire NFL career with Tennessee. He has started only 68 games during that span.
Amano, 31, didn’t play a single down for the Titans in 2012 due to an injured triceps muscle.
With a $6 million salary cap hit this year, Amano’s age and health were the primary reasons the Titans parted ways with him.
