The Tennessee Titans announced that they’ve signed CB Demontre Hurst to a contract on Monday.
Hurst, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma back in 2013 before signing on with the Bears. Hurst was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseasonย but was on and off of their practice squad the past three seasons.
Hurst was in the final year of his two-year, $1.110 million contractย when the Bears waived him coming out of the preseason last year. Chicago did, however, bring him back in October.
In 2016, Hurst appeared in 10 games for the Bearsย and recorded 14 tackles, one sack, an interception and two pass defenses.
