Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Titans are signing former Cardinals Sย Rashad Johnson to a one-year deal.
Tennessee brought Johnson in for a visit a few weeks ago, and it appeared as though they were his best option.
Johnson, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2009. He has played all seven years in Arizona and wasย among the best available safeties in this year’s free agent class.
In 2015, Johnson appeared in 14 games and recorded 61 tackles, five interceptions, a fumble recovery and seven pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 50 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
