Titans Waive TE Brett Brackett

The Tennessee Titans waived TE Brett Brackett on Monday, according to Terry McCormick.

The Titans promoted Brackett to their active roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

Brackett, 26, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in 2011, but was later waived from the team’s practice squad in September. He has since had brief stints with the Jaguars, Eagles and Cardinals before the Titans signed him to a contract over a month ago.

It would not be surprising to see him end up on the Titans practice squad in the coming days.
