Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are trading LB Raekwon McMillan to the Raiders on Saturday.
According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders are trading a 2021 fourth-round pick to the Dolphins for McMillan and a 2021 fifth-round pick.
Jackson explains that both sides mutually agreed this was best and the Dolphins preferred Elandon Roberts and Kamu Grugier-Hill at linebacker.
McMillan, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year contract worth $4,697,532 that includes a signing bonus of $1,556,388.
McMillan stands to make a base salary of $1.10 million for the 2020 season.
In 2019, McMillan appeared in 13 games for the Dolphins and recorded 72 tackles, no sacks and a pass defense.
