Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Titans DE Vic Beasley did not show up for COVID-19 testing again on Wednesday and there has been no communication on why or where he is.
The Titans placed Beasley on the reserve/Did Not Report list on Tuesday.
This is a very odd situation. Players have about a week or so left to opt-out of the 2020 season.
However, it’s strange that Beasley hasn’t been in communication with his team whatsoever. We’re hoping all is fine with him.
Beasley, 27, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year, $14.5 million contract but the Falcons picked up his fifth-year option worth $14,200,000 for the 2019 season.
The Titans signed Beasley to a one-year contract worth up to $12 million this offseason.
In 2019, Beasley appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons and recorded 42 total tackles, 8 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses.
Weโll have more regarding Beasley as the news is available.
