The Minnesota Vikings announced Thursday that they’ve claimed G Tyler Catalina off of waivers from the Redskins and waived G Tiano Pupungatoa.
Catalina, 26, signed with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia in 2017. He managed to make the final roster coming out of the preseason.
Catalina was waived later in 2017 before returning to the Redskins five days later. Washington elected to cut him loose on Wednesday.
In 2017, Catalina appeared in seven games for the Redskins, starting two.
