Matt Vensel of the Star-Tribune reports that Vikings DT B.J. Dubose sustained a torn ACL during Wednesday’s OTA practice and is expected to miss the entire 2016 season.
Minnesota will likely place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add another player to their 90-man roster.
Dubose, 24, was taken in the sixth round by the Vikings last year. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but later signed to the team’s practice squad.
During the preseason last year, Dubose recorded two tackles over the course of three games.
