Edison, 23, originally signed on to the Bears’ practice squad during the 2015ย season as an undrafted free agent out of Portland State. He was brought back on a future/reserve contract a few months later.
However, the Bears elected to cut Edison loose coming out of the preseason and he was been on and off of their active roster last season. Chicago later signed him to a future/reserve contract this past January before placing him on waivers.
The Vikings signed him to their practice squad once he passed through waivers unclaimed.
In 2016, Edison appeared in six games.
