Vikings Re-Sign DT David Parry

The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday that they have re-signed DT David Parry and placed CB Mike Hughes on injured reserve with a torn ACL.

  • The Vikings also signed CB Craig James to their practice squad and released CB Jalen Myrick from the practice squad.

Here’s the Vikings updated practice squad:

  1. WR Chad Beebe
  2. WR Jeff Badet
  3. C Cornelius Edison
  4. G Colby Gossett
  5. T Storm Norton
  6. LB Reshard Cliett
  7. DT Curtis Cothran
  8. TE Cole Hikutini
  9. DE Jonathan Wynn
  10. CB Craig James

Parry, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Colts back in 2015. He lasted just over two years in Indianapolis before he was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Saints’ practice squad.

New Orleans promoted Parry to their active roster a few weeks into the regular season before placing him on injured reserve soon after.

The Vikings signed Parry to a one-year contract back in March, but was waived last month.

In 2018, Parry has appeared in two games for the Vikings and recorded two tackles and a sack.
