The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday that they’ve re-signed RB Ameer Abdullah.
Abdullah, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. He played the final year of his four-year, $4.156 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
The Lions elected to waive Abdullah last year and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Vikings.
In 2018, Abdullah appeared in 10 games for the Lions and Vikings and rushed for one yard on one carry to go along with three receptions for 28 yards and no touchdowns. He also totaled 365 kick return yards.
