The Minnesota Vikings announced that they’ve re-signed RB Roc Thomas to their practice squad after he passed through waivers unclaimed on Thursday and released G Landon Turner from the unit.

Thomas, 23, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Vikings and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
However, the Vikings waived Thomas on Wednesday to make room for Ameer Abdullah.
In 2018, Thomas has appeared in five games and rushed for 30 yards on eight carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with two receptions for 21 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
