Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Vikings are currently in discussions with agents for free agent FB Rhett Ellison about a return to Minnesota.
Ellison, 27, played out his four-year, $2.4 million rookie contract that included a $300,584 signing bonus. His year, unfortunately, came to an end after he suffered a torn patellar tendon during their Week 15 win over the Packers.
In 2015, Ellison appeared in 15 games and caught 11 passes for 124 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Vikings.
