Vikings TE David Morgan To Have Season-Ending Surgery

The Vikings announced on Friday that TE David Morgan will have season-ending surgery.

Morgan had been on the PUP list since the start of the season with a knee injury. He had another surgery on his knee back in June.

Morgan, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.47 million contract and set to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.

Morgan will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.

In 2018, Morgan appeared in 11 games for the Vikings and caught five passes for 36 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
