Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Vikings TE David Morgan recently had arthroscopic surgery to clean up the knee he injured last season.
The good news, however, is that Morgan is expected to be back for training camp, according to Pelissero.
Morgan, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.47 million contract and set to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.
Morgan will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
In 2018, Morgan appeared in 11 games for the Vikings and caught five passes for 36 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
