Colts cornerback Vontae Davis explained that he’ll miss some time as he sprained his left knee in Sunday’s win over the Titans, per Phil Richards of the Indianapolis Star.
“I’m going to be out a while,” Davis said, via Richards. “Freak thing.”
It’s unknown how much time Davis will miss. He was seen in the Colts locker room Monday with a noticeable limp and a brace on his left knee. Cassius Vaughn replace Davis at corner with Josh Gordy taking Vaughn’s place as the Colts nickel back.
