Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that West Georgia DE/OLB Darrius Caldwell is leaving school and plans to enter the 2015 Supplemental Draft.

This is the first player to announce his intention to leave school early and join the 2015 supplemental draft pool, which will be held later this summer.

The last player to be selected in a supplemental draft was Browns WR Josh Gordon back in 2012.

In 2014, Caldwell appeared in 15 games for West Georgia and recorded 69 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks. He was named First Team All-Gulf South Conference and Named Second-Team All Super Region 2 by Daktronics.

We’ll have more regarding players that will be eligible for the 2015 Supplemental Draft as the news is available.
