Report: Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall Re-Tears ACL After Surgery

A source confirmed that Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall re-tore his ACL at home one day after having the tendon repaired surgically, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

Hall, 30, initially sustained the ACL injury in week 3.  He was ruled out for the season after the injury was confirmed, but this re-tear is certainly noteworthy considering his age and contract status.

Hall , 30, signed a four-year, $17 million contract that included $5.4 million guaranteed with the Redskins back in February. Next year, his base salary will jump from $1.25 million to $4 million, so it will be interesting to see what they elect to do with him moving forward.

Hall’s 2013 season ends with 16 tackles and a fumble recovery over the course of three games.
