Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that there is a meeting scheduled for Monday between the Chargers and Rams regarding a potential deal that would have the Chargers relocate to Los Angeles.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Chargers moving to Los Angeles is considered “imminent“, and an announcement from could come as soon as early next week.

All indications have been that the Chargers are likely to accept the offer to move L.A. and join the Rams in the new Inglewood stadium.

Alex Flanagan previously reported that NFL has framework of a stadium deal between the Rams and Chargers. According to Flanagan, the Chargers were vetting the agreement, but barring anything unforeseen, the plan is for them to move to L.A.

It’s worth mentioning that the Chargers would need to make a decision soon if they want to be in L.A. for the 2016 season.

There is a pretty big incentive for Rams owner Stan Kroenke to get an agreement in place with the Chargers sooner than later, as this would allow the Rams to begin selling naming rights, club seats, PSLs, and sponsorships at a temporary stadium until 2017 if they have an agreement with a second team to join them in Inglewood.

The one aspect of this situation is whether Chargers owner Dean Spanos will elect to be just a tenant or a partner in the Inglewood project. To be a partner, Spanos would reportedly need $500 million or more, according to La Canfora.

The possibility exists that the Raiders could move to Los Angeles, but this would require the Chargers to pass on the opportunity, which doesn’t appear to be something they’re willing to do right now.

The L.A. Coliseum is reportedly open to hosting multiple teams in needed, so that could be a temporary home for the Chargers and Rams.

We’ll have more regarding the Chargers possibly moving to L.A. as the news is available.
